Micro-D (Pty) Ltd was founded in March 1994. It initially focused on the distribution of IBM and HP/Compaq PC and Server products to Corporate Customers. We have since developed our product offering to include all IT brands and products and pride ourselves in being able to offer a total solution backed up with excellent service.
Responsibility
We are a Level 1 Contributor with a BEE procurement recognition level of 135%. Over and above our own CSR Projects, we have worked with our Customers to establish and assist them with their CSR projects. We have achieved success in this endeavor in setting up Bursary and Donation Projects using old and discontinued IT assets.

We have developed our business to the stage where we can guarantee our Customers a service far superior to the average in the IT industry. We have built our Company on Customer Service and where possible have developed a personal working relationship with our Customers.

Because of our history, reputation and good standing in the IT community we have excellent relationships with all the IT Distributors in South Africa. This enables us to offer a complete range of products and services and to be able to deliver countrywide.

Micro-D has achieved Platinum level partner status with Lenovo. This designation recognizes our capabilities in building IT solutions based on Lenovo’s technologies.
The partnership program was created for rewarding reliable partners of Lenovo and for their involvement in business development. Partners are assessed on the basis of two major criteria: Lenovo products certification of the staff and annual financial results. The Platinum status grants such benefits to the accredited partner as participation in the sales support program, organization of joint marketing activities, as well as inclusion in the list of Lenovo vendors.
